Facebook rolls out Watch Party, a video viewing option for Facebook Group.

Facebook has launched “Watch Party” option which is a new way for users to watch videos on Facebook together in real time. When the Watch Party session is started, The host can invites people in the group to join the session. Participants can watch video live or recorded and interact with friends in the group at the same time. To access Watch Party, simply go to the status bar on Facebook Group and select Watch party. According to the announcement, there are two features available for Watch Party at the moment.

Copyright Match, new tool from Youtube for detecting who re-upload your content and take action

A new tool called "Copyright Match" designed to find re-uploads of content by other creators is now being rolled out for creators with more than 100k subscribers.  It works based on “Youtube’s Content ID system” which recognizes either the sounds used in the videos or the sequence of visual contents like a fingerprint system. When the tool finds a match, the content creator will be able to choose what action to take.
